 The Continucare Century Club embodies the
true celebration of human spirit. Members of
this club have reached 100 years of age and
exemplify a strength and perseverance that has
come from living a rich and full life.
We celebrate these individuals by helping them
share their unique and fruitful life stories. The
strength found in their testimonies are truly inspiring
and creates within each of our physicians and staff a sense of purpose when
delivering care. By taking a personal approach and focusing on individual patient
needs, we are able to maintain relationships at our medical centers that
contribute to the long-term well-being of our patients.

Patient of Dr. Amarilis Vasquez
Our newest Century Club member, Maria E. Hernandez, was born in 1910 and
recently turned 100 years old. She has been an established Humana member and
Continucare patient since 2003.
Maria was born in Palmira, Colombia and has been a resident of Miami, FL for the past 35 years. She has 3 daughters and among her favorite things in life,
she enjoys dancing, writing poetry, listening to music and reading. Maria credits her health and well-being to taking care of herself and always
making time for sleep and her nutritious soups.
